Consignor Waiver and Team Member Agreement

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐒
I am participating in the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale as a Consignor and or Team Member and understand that I am an independent contractor in regards to selling my items.

I understand and accept that Just Between Friends is not responsible for fire, loss, theft, or damage to my items.

I understand that JBF Grand Rapids is only a broker or agent for the Consignor. JBF Grand Rapids has no obligation to pay for unsold items. Title and possession of items remain with the Consignor.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒
Consignor fees are $12.00 if I choose to donate all unsold items after the sale or $17.00 if I choose to pick up my unsold items at the end of the sale.

Regular consignors earn 60% of the gross sales of their items, less the applicable consignor fee.

Consignors who help as a team member for a minimum of four hours during setup or drop off, during the sale, or during sort and breakdown, may earn 70% of their gross sales, less the applicable consignor fee.

A minimum of 50 newly tagged items is required to participate as a consignor.

𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐊 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐘𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐒
I understand that I must cash my consignor check within 60 days of receiving it. If the check is not cashed within that time, a $35.00 fee will be assessed.

When using safety pins, do not tape over the pins, as this can damage the garment. Whether using safety pins or a tagging gun, always attach tags through the original garment tag or through a seam to avoid holes. Do not use a tagging gun on the front of a garment, as it may cause damage.

All items must be clean, complete, in working condition, and meet JBF standards. Items that are off season, stained, broken, missing pieces, outside of posted category limits, or missing batteries may be rejected.

Battery operated items must have working batteries. If batteries are missing or need to be replaced during the sale, a fee of $2.00 per battery will be charged.
